Reed Spaulding
Reed Spaulding is a Summer Projects Intern at MAC, where he contributes to the development of the organization’s scholarship program and other creative projects. First and foremost a musician, Reed has played drums and guitar in bands across the Baltimore area since elementary school. His passion for music and community inspired him to found The Tributary Festival, a benefit concert that raised over $20,000 for the Chesapeake Bay and introduced him to the power of music as a force for change.
That experience sparked his interest in the business and policy side of the industry, leading him to pursue a Music Industry degree with a minor in Business Law at Drexel University. Alongside his studies, and to help him bring a unique perspective to the policy world, Reed manages a student record label, works as a Law Clerk at an entertainment law firm, and is a consistent gigging musician. With persistence, creativity, and a commitment to advocacy, he brings fresh energy to MAC’s mission of protecting music creators and building sustainable careers.
